Young Researcher and Innovator (YRI) conference grants

A Young Researcher and Innovator (YRI) conference grant supports a presentation of own work given by a Young Researcher and Innovator. The purpose is foster grantees’ participation in high-level conferences fully organized by a third party, i.e. not organized or co-organized by the COST Action. An YRI Conference Grantee receives support for attending and presenting their work (poster/oral presentation) at a conference.

Inclusiveness Target Country (ITC) conference grants

An Inclusiveness Target Country (ITC) conference grant supports a presentation of own work given by a researcher/innovator affiliated in an Inclusiveness Target Country / Near Neighbour Country. The purpose is foster grantees’ participation in high-level conferences fully organized by a third party, i.e. not organized or co-organized by the COST Action. An ITC Conference Grantee receives support for attending and presenting their work (poster/oral presentation) at a conference.

Short-Term Scientific Mission (STSM) grants

A Short-Term Scientific Mission (STSM) is a visit to a host organization located in a different country by a researcher or innovator to conduct a specific piece of work for a determined period of time. A STSM grantee receives funding for this work within an international team and gains new knowledge or access to equipment or techniques not available in the home institution.
